This episode is a prime example of Terri being the straight in the trio while Janet went full-on goofy.

This was the one where Janet thinks Jack's date Doreen is a prostitute as opposed to being a sex therapist.

Sadly to me it just accentuates the point that Priscilla was brought in merely to be a pretty blonde. Her acting was not heavy duty in this episode.

It made me miss Cindy. But this is the point I was making before. The show was missing something in those last two seasons. They were short an extra funny cast member.

This episode did give Joyce a chance to show off her comedic chops though. She reminded me of Chrissy when she was eating the French Fries nervously.

It really is a shame Joyce didn't move on to another sitcom after the end of Three's Company. What a waste. Very underrated actress.

From 1988 to May of 1991 she didn't do any acting or voice work of any kind.
Talk about waste.

Yes! You reminded me of the "The Fast" episode, where Chrissy's appetite was on display, and also in the episode "Alone Together" when Jack comments on how Chrissy eats too much when she gets upset.

Also, I recall in "Teacher's Pet" (season 5) when Janet comes home and gives Jack this horrible, exaggerated, glare....for some reason that facial expression was just ridiculous and silly to me. It was totally a Chrissy-face. I suppose it was a harbinger of things to come.

I agree with you, it's kind of a shame we didn't see Joyce in more stuff, but that was her choice. I think the stardom of TC was too much and she wanted to get away. By the time she came back she was relegated to TV movies and the like. Unfortunate for us, but I'm sure she's laughing all the way to the bank.
