View Full Version : The 20 Most Unfair Frasier Questions
I've been thinking of some questions about Frasier and will be posting them here. Many of the answers can be easily answered as an opinion, but I don't think there's a real answer out there for any of them. Well, perhaps 2 or 3 of them. If you do decide to attempt to answer any of them, please provide references to validate your answer(s) (if you can). Thanks for reading this and please enjoy.
Edward216 04-05-2015, 02:53 AM I knew about Lisa Kudrow being originally cast as Roz and then let go and being replaced by Peri Gilpin. I've never heard that Rosie Perez was originally supposed to play Daphne, that's news to me. I seem to remember though that Lisa Kudrow while not actually appearing onscreen in an episode, she did the voice of a woman calling into Frasier's radio show with a problem one time. But maybe I'm thinking of some other actress.
I'd assume that with Friends starting its series run about the same time as Frasier did, and then with it becoming so popular, Lisa Kudrow was just too busy with working on Friends and then doing publicity for it all of the time (TV interviews and so on). I really don't remember any of the cast of Friends guest starring on any other series while it was on. I remember Courteney Cox is in a episode of Seinfeld, but that had to be a couple of years before Friends started. That's my thought about it anyways.

Cool. thanks Ed. I remember Jane Leeves being on Seinfeld. Kelsey appeared on Wings.
Isn't that funny? I'm certain this doesn't apply so much, but I have met several people who always want to solve other people's problems, but can't solve their own.
andress_jade 04-05-2015, 08:29 PM #20 Maris's revolver: one of the recurring sources of irony in the show (and actually extending back to Cheers) is that Frasier and Niles are resspected psychiatrists, yet they are also highly neurotic and have absolutely no ability to develop healthy relationships, especially romantic ones.
Well Niles finally did find happiness with Daphne even though it took him 7 years to tell her how he felt. Frasier still struggled with it until almost the very end.
Edward216 04-06-2015, 12:51 AM Oh yes you're right. let's not forget about Jane Leeves appearing in a Seinfeld episode too. :)
Schmoopie 04-13-2015, 04:20 AM Pat, I see what you're doing here. You know that any of these questions pertaining to the "what if" portions of the show (like Frasier's fate after the show ended) could easily be written into fan fic stories! Just scrolling through them gave me at least ten ideas, so if that was your intention, it worked! These are awesome and I love the pictures that go with them! Brilliant! Thanks so much for telling me about this and I'm glad that I was finally able to take a break from writing "Sheltered Secrets" (Anyone who is curious about that, please feel free to go to my page on fanfic.net and check it out!) and see what this list entailed! I absolutely love it!
Schmoopie 04-13-2015, 04:24 AM In regards to Question 2:
I think Niles mentioned that The Montana didn't allow pets. I forget which episode it was but it was right after he moved in the first time. I don't know what he would have done with that dog though. I'm guessing they didn't know about Baby, however... Or maybe birds don't count as pets there?

Schmoopie 04-13-2015, 04:29 AM As for Question 16, I would buy Niles/Frasier action figures in a heartbeat!
Edward216 04-18-2015, 12:58 AM I'll take a stab questions 1 and 4.
I think Frasier probably ended up staying in Chicago with Charlotte. Because he wanted a change of scenery and try living in a different city, and a bonus would be it was going to be shorter trips to see Frederick or when Frederick would come to visit him.
I think Bulldog was finally (and deservedly!) fired for his stupid, unprofessional, and childish pranks and his disgustingly sexist attitude. He's probably working as a "shock jock" radio DJ on the nightshift at some dead end radio station somewhere LOL.
Ed.

I was considering Baby, but recalled that Baby died. Remember that they put the dead bird in Niles' refridg?
We last saw Bob "Bulldog" Briscoe in Season 11 Episode 12 "Frasier Lite". Bulldog was entering a Fat-To-Fit TV challenge in the KACL-AM team. He was working in the KACL archives.
Sadly though, Bulldog is not in the series finale. He could have easily been at Frasier's booth window witnessing Frasier's last show like the other on-lookers.
Kelsey Grammer kept the Steinway piano from Frasier’s apartment as a memento.
Just found this answer at:

It's the fact after fact #10
Wow, with egg on my face, I have found the answer on another board. 4.14 TO KILL A TALKING BIRD, Nile states when Martin asked what happened to the dog, "Oh, I found a wonderful family to adopt her."
Schmoopie 07-07-2016, 04:44 AM I know that Niles' middle name is Edward. I've Googled his Wikipedia page many, many times!

That's right. I had forgotten about that. And I'd forgotten that I had replied to these questions but you have some great ones!
WOW! I didn't know that!!!!
Schmoopie 07-08-2016, 02:12 AM WOW! I didn't know that!!!!
I should go through and write them down so that I can maybe come up with more stories that answer these questions. That would be a fun challenge!
