One of my very favorite Sanford & Son episodes was on tonight... on Antenna TV (I'm pretty sure... it might have been TV One.) Anyway, the episode ends with Fred leaving the Chinese restaurant when it's starting to rain. He still has his birthday hat on that Lamont got for him. That was the end. Does anyone remember if there was a tag scene that was deleted? I seem to remember Fred and Lamont talking about the hat.
Anyway, for those that need to be refreshed on the episode.... It's Fred's birthday and Lamont takes him out for drinks (Fred complains) then he takes him to the play of "Fiddler On the Roof" (Fred complains) and lastly Lamont takes Fred to a Chinese restaurant for dinner (Fred complains yet again) especially when he can't order "ham hocks and lima beans." Finally, Lamont is fed up and leaves Fred at the restaurant alone. I was sure there was a tag scene, but it ended with Fred just walking out of the restaurant.
Does anyone remember if there was anything more?

Don't remember if there was a tag scene or not but it was a great episode. It was actually the second episode of the series.

I LOVE that episode. I sure wish there was someone who knew if there was a missing TAG scene.

Haha! Fred thought he could get rich on social security!
Fred to Lamont: "How do you want your eggs"?
