So... iTunes now has Cheers in HD, has anyone bothered comparing iTunes and the DVD for quality?

iTunes has both 1080p and 720p files. 720p is USUALLY better for live action shows since the increase in bitrate to 1920x1080 is too small to make the quality better, making it worse sadly. Cheers is an SD show upscaled though so I don't know which would be better. And the DVD could well be better depending on how well the upscale was done for iTunes.

Please share your opinion on the quality of each resolution, and I hope someone can provide a comparison too.
