I'm curious about the case of John Gordon Purvis. He was wrongfully imprisoned for murdering a woman named Susan in Florida. I understand it actually ended up being aired as an update because, while filming the story, they arrested the men who did it.

I googled and in 1995 he won a $1 million dollar lawsuit against the police. Wikipedia says he still lives in Florida but I'm still wondering...is he indeed still alive?

I haven't found any death record on him. Therefore, he is most likely still alive.
