I wonder if the whole controversy surrounding Kirk Cameron's homophobic remarks on CNN was part of the reason behind the hold up?

Not getting my hopes up about the rest of the series being released. I have the entire series from Canadian recording which are unedited so I won't buy this. If it had extras I would definitely buy it but it is not worth it for just the episodes.

The WB Shop is now taking pre-orders for the release on April 14.

The set is not worth the price they are charging. For a bare bones set they should be charging no more than 15 to 16 dollars.

As I've said many times before...if you want something bad enough you'll buy it no matter how much it costs...if you don't, then you won't.

I, myself, am just thankful these episodes are finally available on DVD. I've never been one to care much about bonus features anyways.

I'll pick this up next month when I get paid. Can't wait!

I am glad I got my copy. Yes, the price is more than other DVDs but its worth having it like you nicely said. The episodes so far seem unedited and running over 24 minutes in length. Picture quality is good. Also in this season there is a very young Matthew Perry that appears. I haven't gotten to that episode but it was mentioned in a Facebook post by WB. Candice Cameron also appears on the first episode as a love interest for Ben.

I am enjoying the set and hope season 5 comes out soon.

I broke down and went ahead and ordered this from amazon earlier today when it was $28. I just checked it now and it's $36. Wow---I'm glad I got it sooner than later. Can't wait to get my set!!

I wish people would stop saying this. The new releases depend basically on who has the rights and who has the desire to release the show to DVD. Many TV shows had popular sales on DVD but were still discontinued after a season or 2.

I am not going out to buy this just to wait 8 or more years for another release if it comes out at all.

He is just trying to get support for another release. I don't see anything wrong with it and why you are getting so huffy with him. I also hope it sells well.

I am not getting huffy with anyone so please don't get things twisted. I am just being honest. I have supported many DVD releases that have stopped after a few seasons. I love TV on DVD but I also know how rare it is for another release after the previous on.

I wish Shout Factory would just go ahead and get the rights to the show and every other show abandoned after a few seasons so we can end these shows on DVD instead of waiting years at a time.

By the way, I only complained about the price because this is a bare bones set and hardly worth it for just the episodes. Bonus feature such as reunion movies, bloopers or cast commentaries would be nice but MOD sets are known for being bare bones.

Shout! Factory has been a saving grace for TV on DVD in the past years and they continue to do a great job! Kudos to Shout! Factory!

Time-Life/StarVista started out strong with awesome sets for "The Carol Burnett Show", "Mama's Family", & "The Wonder Years" but it seems they're taking a break now since no releases have been announced. Maybe this will change soon.

I should've ordered from wbshop.com and got actual pressed discs and a clear case to match the season 3 set.

Next time I'll know better...

The only time I get from amazon is when they are the one producing the dvds…like Sean Saves The World which I did get from Amazon with art cover and back cover and all. If the dvds are being produced by WB…I always go with them to get pressed dvds...

I usually do too but for some reason I wasn't thinking this time. Yes, I admit it, I made a mistake...LOL.

I have never had a problem ordering MOD sets from Amazon. I order everything from Amazon and never had a problem.

You just got a bad item but as long as the DVDs work there is not need to complain because I am sure they will fix the issue.

There's not really a problem. I was only saying that because I ordered from Amazon I got DVD-R discs and if I had ordered from WBshop.com I would have gotten PRESSED discs.
