The Huffnagels were a rival neighbor family often mentioned on Mr. Belvedere. Would they have made a good spin-off? I would have watched.

Yeah!!!!! Or at least I would have liked to see them on a Mr. Belvedere ep!!! But yeah a show about the unseen ( but very much heard about) Huffnagels would have been cool!!! ;)

I think the Hufnagels are best left in our imaginatiion with Carlton the Doorman, Vera Peterson, and Maris Crane and all of the other talk about but never seen TV characters.

Exactly. Actually seeing the Hufnagels would have ruined their humorous mystique.

One web site says most notable of the Hufnagles was Howie, but when I think of the Hufnagels I think of Grandma Hufnagel, lol.

Well, actually, one of the Hufnagels, Giselle, did appear in an episode, "Mr. Belvedere's Wedding", the series finale.
