The only person from that list that has an ounce of talent is India.Arie. I actually like her a lot. Go for that one.

If you're looking for something more recent, here are the best albums released in the past year:

1. Weezer - Weezer (aka The Green Album)
2. The Strokes - Is This It
3. Radiohead - Amnesiac
4. Paul McCartney - Driving Rain
5. Ben Folds - Rockin' The Suburbs
6. They Might Be Giants - Mink Car
7. Rufus Wainwright - Poses
8. Joey Ramone - Don't Worry About Me
9. Elton John - Songs From The West Coast
10. I Am Sam - Soundtrack

Those are all good Cd's....I like No Doubt's Tragic Kingdom(their 1995 cd), but all of their cd's kick ass and Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz is prolly the best rap cd I have heard in a long time.

That CD is enjoyable but it was a major disapointment for me. It's only 28 minutes long. It wasn't worth the $15 that I paid for it.

The Green Album is great. If you liked their first album, you'll love Pinkerton (their second album) and The Green Album (the new one). Scrounge up some change and go for it!

Ugh. If you're talking about Columbia Records, 1980 (remastered 1993), you got a bad deal. The material is great, but all the songs are hacked to bits (read: radio edits).

Take, for instance, "Sweet Emotion." The talking guitar intro is gone on GH, as is the end guitar/drum coda. Most of the other songs are cut, too. I think the only song they didn't touch is "Dream On." I'm sure Bootsy Whoosh can elaborate.

Weezer's Blue Album is soooooo much better than the Green Album. I like so many more songs on the Blue Album than I do on the Green.
