Everybody I think knows by now that Jesse's surname in the first season of Full House was "Cochran". It was changed to "Katsopolis" because John Stamos apparently, wanted to highlight his Greek heritage. Reading in the comments on Full House Reviewed (https://therealfullhousereviewed.wordpress.com/2010/12/17/season-2-episode-18-goodbye-mr-bear/) regarding the second season episode "Goodbye Mr. Bear" (in which get to see what Jesse's late sister Pam, AKA D.J., Stephanie and Michelle's mother looked like), there's a lot of debate over whether or it's realistic of people (particularly women) of Greek heritage to sport blonde hair.

I wouldn't put too much thought into it, women dye their hair all the time.

That doesn't exactly explain why Danny's daughters have blonde hair too.

I guess the same reason why the three girls never once inquired about their Greek bloodline, the writers didn't plan ahead when they werent busy writing corny sappy episodes.

I've read theories (https://web.archive.org/web/20140409131858/http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/topic/1823519-full-house/page-174) that Pam (Jesse's late sister/the girls mother) is actually Jesse's half sister (or even, adpoted). Also from what I've gathered, John Stamos' sisters are fair-skinned and look a lot less Greek (i.e. olive skin, dark hair, etc.) than he does. John from my understanding, is of English-Irish descent on his mother's side.
