It just shows how much love he had for Lucy, despite they're issues. Wow, to be loved by a man as HOT as Desi...YUM!

It's true they couldn't continue to live together, hence the divorce. But from all I've read and seen on video and Lucy home movies, I truly believe they always loved each other, all the way up to their deaths. I've seen a home movie taken in the 1980s where Lucy and Desi are in her swimming pool playing with one of their grandchildren. They were talking sweetly to each other as well as the child.

I absolutely agree with you, Michael Keith. And of course there are also her cousin Cleo and other close family members as well as friends who talked about how they may have married other people, but they're hearts were with each other, AND the other spouses knew and accepted it. I would bet my last dollar that they also held on to their sexual/intimate relationship despite the other marriages as well. I don't condone infidelity, but with Desi and Lucy, I would have been thrilled to know they did hold onto that part of they're lives with each other. It breaks my heart still to watch the comedy hours, especially the last one, knwing they were falling apart, but I can hold on to the idea that they remained in love until they were reunited after death.
