All right. The other day (Monday) I noticed that the Black Bar was Gone!...during the showing of Miami Vice and Judge Mills Lane.

Now:

I wonder if they have interns working down there that don't know what they're doing. Here's why:

On Monday as mentioned I noticed that the Black Bar was Gone!...during Miami Vice (daytime I think); saw it for a little bit and they had the bug in the corner but no bar underneath As It Should Be.

See my thread in the topic here under "Nick at Nite I've had enough". I was writing about the Bar being gone; having it on TNN and Star Trek's 11:00 PM EST showing was on. And they slapped it on again!!!

What in the world?

Anybody that watches TNN regularly could you make sure if the bar's still on there in the daytime hours, etc? Cause as Ponch used to say on CHIPS:

I've got a hinky feeling about that Black Bar and why its up there. I could be wrong but it could be:

The interns doing it, or somebody that doesn't know what they're doing.

Lets give them the Eyeball and see what's up; I'll keep checking now & then.

It's not an accident, it's been on there for a while now. Anyways, "Oxygen" does the same thing, and they use it for a variety of reasons.

I quit watching TNN a long time ago because of that annoying black bar, so when you posted this, I thought I would take a looksie and see if they finally saw the light. It's funny, but sometimes they don't have the bar and sometimes they do. Like today, I was trying to watch Picket Fences, but I simply find the black bar too annoying, so I switched channels. The programmers must have $%#% for brains. Hallmark Channel has become my favorite. They don't seem to pull any of the black bar garbage(or those stupid po-ups, which I hate also).
