I am 35 and I really don't feel middle aged. Except when Im really sick, and I feel 80 years old. But in general, i feel about the same as when I was 22 or so. I know that 35 is middle aged but it seems silly to me. What if I lived to be 100? Then I wouldn't be middle age until 50.

Do y'all think its middle aged? I dont think it is. Not socially anyway.

Oh lol. I agree with you. Its just that sometimes i hear phrases like "Over 35". etc. or "under 35". I always felt 35 was a bit young to be middle aged.

I think you're still young at 53, IMO. My dad will be 81 this May. He doesn't look it!

35 is not middle age. 40 is considered middle aged. I'm 43. My only health complaints since are frequent heartburn (acid indigestion) and sometimes frequent Charlie horses (muscle spasms.) Also, monthly "lady time" has gotten more painful with the cramps and all. I guess I got ten more years of that hell. So I'm actually looking forward to menopause (in some ways.)

My personal definition of middle aged = ages 40-49.

I'm 37 and I'm always telling people that I'm pushing middle aged.

I consider ages 50-65 middle aged. 35? You're just a kid!:D

If 35 is middle-age, then I guess I'm over the BIG HILL!:D I'm going on 55 (I'm almost as fast as the speed limit)

I not only look younger than my age, but I most definitely don't act my age!

Of course, I live by this motto:

GROWING OLD
is MANDATORY

GROWING UP
is OPTIONAL

And I think everyone should.

My last High School Reunion, I had a few people say "You haven't aged/changed a bit, how do you do it?"

I would say." 6 KIDS and 12 GRANDKIDS! And what do you mean I haven't changed(??)---I'm at least 60 lbs heavier and I'm wearing glasses--BI-FOCALS!!" LOL LOL
(I have Fathered 2 kids and have 4 step-kids and we now have 16 grandkids and 1 on the way) And yes,, My Wife and I are still on our Honeymoon.....

Most people as they age, almost always feel like they are about 25 years-old, no matter how old they get....age is just a number!
STAY HEALTHY---EAT RIGHT---AND TRY TO GET 8 HOURS OF SLEEP A NIGHT (but no less than 6)

I will be 56 this year. I am constantly mistaken for being in my 30's BUT, and this is a BIG BUT - My body feels like I am in my 60's. So I learned you can look young, but biology doesn't care about how you look. Old is old is old is OLD.
