I want was appears to be a type of security. That if you play by the rules, you are almost guaranteed a certain level of lifestyle.

I want to be able to walk all over town and not be concerned for my safety or my possessions.

I want to know that more than likely tomorrow will be the same as today unless I chose to make it different.

The medicine in LITB was advanced enough that most things could be cured by leading a healthy lifestyle, so the only thing I would want is the assurance that as a woman i would be treated fairly and could have any job i was qualified for. cat on lap can't type right

Oh I would love to live in Mayfield! I would definately take all my family and friends with me - of course they would have to conform to those days -otherwise, why bother? LOL!

The only thing that I would be concerned with is that I'm a tom -boy and not a woman who likes to dress up and wear make up. But I LOVE a man in a suit! Go figure! I would have to take my computer - only because it types better than a typewriter and I'm a writer so I definately want the modern conveniences of pounding out a manuscript easier and faster. But, the laptop would be my dirty little secret - as no one else would know what it is because their memories will have been wiped clean...LOL! Going back to that time I would finally get a chance to see what sex was like for women back then being it was considered a wifely duty. Oh come on - you all know you have wondered! LOL!
