PARMA, Ohio — Police say a group of men beat and injured several Chuck E. Cheese employees while attending a birthday party at the restaurant.

Police received several 911 calls at about 7:12 p.m. Sunday reporting a disturbance inside the kid-themed restaurant. When officers arrived, they discovered the injured employees.

All of the male attackers ran out of the restaurant before officers arrived.

Police learned that the attack on the employees allegedly started when a female patron attending the party complained to employees about a photo booth machine that was not working. A manager reportedly told the woman she would have to wait.

Police said one of the men from the birthday party followed the manager into the kitchen area of the restaurant, threatened to kill him and then suddenly attacked him.

The manager was beaten and struck on the face and head. Other employees intervened to help their manager and were then attacked by a group of other patrons from the birthday party.

Police investigators believe that a total of at least five unidentified men from the birthday party participated in attacking the employees. It was also reported to police that around a dozen individuals from the birthday party were inciting the other men who were attacking the employees.

The six injured employees included a second manager who tried to help the first; a teenage girl who had her cellphone knocked out of her hand and then was struck in the face when she tried to call 911; and a worker who was knocked to the ground and struck multiple times about the face and head.

Police said portions of the attack on the employees took place in the kitchen and the main area of the restaurant in view of customers and children.

What's worse is that the kids were cheering their parents...have we gotten the bar lowered?!

Hope there were security cameras to show who the attackers were and that it will lead to their arrest. I guess their children will grow up to be just like them since they were cheering them on. Such a horrible thing!

Those mother effers, if I were getting attacked I would have grabbed anything from the kitchen and started hitting them with it.

There were cameras around. Some of the family members fled...and yes...those kids will probably be even worse than their parents.

OH Nuts!

Good that there were cameras so the jerks will be busted.

(As Judge Judy would say: "Do I have stupid written all over my face") YES, when your little temper tantrum goes viral to the police- have a fun vacation behind bars!

Of course it goes without sayings ow disgusting and disheartening such behavior is. We really have sunk.
