I have been a huge fan of Blue Bloods since day one. Amazing show. Amazing actors, and guest actors. However, Marisa Ramirez is BEYOND horrible in the role of Detective Baez. My wife and I always comment, "She must have known someone in casting to get this job." Her skill level is non-existent. Not sure how she continues to remain on the show. I have nothing against this girl, and I certainly don't oppose her because of her race (My family is Mexican), it 's just that she is an incredibly poor actress. Please, get rid of her yesterday.

This can't get worse. Just watched the episode where Detective Baez is held hostage in the box in the police station by a husband who is distraught that he has a restraining order against him. It was PAINFUL to see how unbelievably horrible she was trying to act this scene. After hours of living in the shadow of death, she freely makes jokes with Danny after being rescued. Her acting was unconscionably bad. Wow.

To me, she did well when she cried for her brother after he was killed saving her at the beginning of the show's current season.

I have to friendly disagree of course...haha...as a Blue Bloods fan who has seen most of the episodes I like her work better than Jennifer Espositos...they are both good actresses...I just like Marisa Ramirez better...and have enjoyed her work on many soaps days, B&B, Y&R etc..for many years.
