You should have caught the two prior episodes. The first episode was really great. The second one was good too. Kids are not what this show is about.

Because it's not a family sitcom, it's a show about to grown men living together in a big city. If I expect to watch an adult sitcom that's what I want to see

I have to watch the first 2 episodes on demand. So the show is halfway decent?

That's not fair, Felix is supposed to be annoying. If you weren't annoyed by him, that would be a case of an actor giving a bad performance.

Ok, so I was taping something else last night and since my mom doesnt like wrestling, I wound up watching The Odd Couple last night. My mother didnt like it but I thought it was ok. Felix is good on there but the jury is still open about Oscar. It was just ok. Not great nor not bad.

Agreed. I felt like Matthew Perry was drifting back into Chandler a few times.
No matter what role he takes from now on, he will forever be thought of as Chandler Bing! ;) I haven't seen the show yet, but I'm glad that he found something new to star in. Maybe I'll check it out.

The dialogue is mostly comprised of set-ups and punchlines, and the delivery comes across as unnatural and forced. Matthew Perry in particular, delivers most of his lines in an over-exaggerated snarky tone.

The show has been picked up for next season, the show is not too bad. I think of them as The original Odd Couple Duo's kids.

Perry's delivery was definitely distracting, but he certainly stuck with it, and now I'm kind of used to it. Sort of.

OH Nuts!

Adult sitcom with two men living together who are single in a big city.:wave:I think it's an enjoyable show Sal. Since Felix does have two kids, they do, on rare occasions make an appearance. But it's adults easily 97-98% of the time. Nothing gets me chuckling like Felix honking or in one of his OCD cleaning moments. Some good supporting actors on the show too. So I think you're good to go. Happy viewing!
