Scott - realizing that he wasn't going to win Lindsay, all of his schemes backfired and landed him in detention, striking out with most of the girls in the school, and with Vicky essentially stalking him at every turn, he thought it was best to return to Valley.

Vicki- The California climate was too much for her various acne and sinus problems so her and her parents moved to a different state where there would be less factors to irritate Vicky.

Weasel - Realizing that he had a hidden gift as a field goal kicker and seeing how easily he was persuaded, a girl from a rival school (possibly Valley) probably suckered him into transferring to kick for their football team.

Megan - Presumably got a scholarship to some ritzy California prep school (possibly the one from season 1). Since most of her closest friends from season 1 left (including her best friend Vicky), she probably the prep school on their offer thanks to encouragement from Belding and her father. Seeing as serious as she took her schooling, she probably realized that public school wasn't enough of a challenge for her.

Brian - foreign exchange students only stay for 1 year, so he probably went back to Switzerland at the end of the school year.

Ryan - Probably transferred to a school in New York to be near Rachel

Rachel - As fashion conscious as she was, she probably transferred to a high school for the arts in hopes of one day becoming a fashion designer

R.J. - Found out that he fit in better at Valley and decided to transfer back there.

I need some help about what possibly happened to Lindsay, Tommy, and Bobby! ;)

Bobby's departure is unknown, but Lindsay and Tommy graduated from school.

According to wiki.

They should have mentioned Screech's future at the end of the new class series that Screech transferred to another public high school, which is low-difficult than Bayside High, and become a new principal there to make ending of this new class series completely proper.

Now I do have to trust 100% on what's in Wikipedia. Screech's future is a new principal in a new low-difficult public high school than Bayside high.

A few of the characters did get an explanation for their absence. Of course none of them got the detailed explanations given by the OP of this thread.

In the first episode of season 4 (“Oh, Brother”) it’s explained that Lindsay left Bayside to go to Winward Academy (a private school), while Tommy moved to Florida. Ryan and the gang are all surprised that the two won’t be returning to Bayside. This makes NO sense, as Lindsay and Tommy were on the show from the beginning. The first season was the sophomore year, so they technically SHOULD have graduated at the end of the third season. Why the writers didn’t just say that, I’ll never know.

The first episode of season 5 (“Suddenly Ryan”) made mention of Rachel moving to Boston. Ryan mentioned he had flowers delivered to her locker on the first day of school, which sounds like she didn’t graduate either, but simply transferred to a different high school. Later in the episode, she calls Ryan and dumps him claiming she met another guy.

As for Ryan, according to Katie and Nicky, he’s “3,000 miles away” because he “couldn’t turn down an offer to the best private school in the country.” This is from the first episode of season 6 (“Maria’s Revenge”).

A real troll only shares things that have nothing to do with what is supposed to be talked about. To me, what TMC brings to this place couldn't be anymore appreciated, not to mention relevant to each forum.

God bless you and TMC always!!!

The New Class would not have been officially trashy yet if the New Class setting would not be in either Bayside or Valley or another high school which is like both Bayside and Valley types, TBH IMO.
