I'm glad I got the complete series. I don't like that they've changed the cover art design. It's different than the past five seasons. It looks more like the ones in the complete series box. And why does it say Season Six instead of The Complete Sixth Season? They did the same thing with Season 7 of The Jeffersons. Now people will have covers that look very incongruent with their previous releases. But at least it's being released finally and that's a good thing.

When it comes to getting my favorite shows on DVD vs the artwork for the release. The first one always takes top rank. In my opinion, I would much rather see my favorite show be released to DVD rather than worry about the artwork.

Different companies released The Jeffersons and The Facts of Life previously so that may make a difference between "The Complete ? Season" and "Season ? but I don't know.

When these sets arrive I usually don't look at the design because the discs go straight into my player for viewing.

I think we pay more attention to the art design for a DVD set when we are waiting for it to be released because when they are finally released we notice run times, picture quality and musical numbers that may have been cut out

This isn't about the Facts releases, but it is somewhat related: on the third- and fourth-season (1981-83) releases of Hart to Hart from Shout!, the third one's front image was taken from the first slipcase of Sony's first-season release, and the fourth one's image was taken from the back cover of that same first-season release.

Consequently, this upcoming fifth and final one, IIRC, will use the same image on the front that was on the front of Sony's second-season release.

Not only that, but I also heard from Home Theater Forum that the images on the discs in the third and fourth releases were not from those seasons themselves.
