I remember seeing a case on a show in the early 90s. I'm fairly sure it was UM, but I can't remember. Anyway, it was about a woman who was raped sometime in the early to mid-80s, and was blaming a man who (if I remember right) was a fairly well off or well known guy. She said it happened in his truck, which was an early 80's Jeep Cherokee, with a fold down rear seat. She said he had held her with one hand and put the seat down with the other, and dragged her into the back. They ended up trying to see if this was possible (in the early 90s, around 90 or so) by getting a Cherokee from that year and tried to see if the seat could be put down one handed. After a few tries, the guy they had doing it realized he could push the lever to the side and stick it, then pull the seat down easily. They were saying this was proof it happened, but then someone argued that because this truck was almost ten years old, and parts had worn, that it didn't mean anything because the truck he had was only a year or two old at that time.
I don't remember how (or if) it was resolved, but I remember seeing it in reruns at least once. Does anyone have any memory of this at all?
