My mother was a huge fan of Leonard Nimoy, she saw him at an event once and he refused to sign an autograph for her. She remained a fan but I think that really hurt her.
May he RIP
Since Leonard Nimoy's death last week, Canadians have taken part in offering a rather unusual way to honour his life and legacy. It is a new trend called "Spocking", which consists of doodling Spock's famous facial features on a Canadian $5 bill, which features a portrait of former Prime Minister Wilfred Laurier. The Bank of Canada is not amused by this rather "illogical" tribute and is urging all Canadians to cease and desist with this practice at once, something which is obviously easier said than done.
