Call this project "CSI: Earth". CBS said today it will attempt on March 4 to break the Guinness World Record for Largest Ever TV Drama Simulcast.
It plans a worldwide airing of the "CSI" episode 'Kitty', which premiered in April 2014 as the planted spinoff for "CSI: Cyber". The episode will air at 4 PM Pacific time in more than 150 countries and will be streamed in the U.S. on CBS.com from 4 PM to midnight PT.
"CSI: Cyber", starring newly minted Oscar winner Patricia Arquette, also premieres March 4 — which CBS has declared World CSI Day — at 10 PM in the U.S.
