Did anyone notice this the pilot episode on Nick-at-Nite the other day? (it was on the pilot episode)

"Family Ties is next on Nick-at-Nite. Now sure, Denise Huxstable has a certain flair and Rebecca Hale dresses with sophistication. But when it comes to fashion, nobody can compare to Jennifer Keaton. Its like a sitcom runway! Next."

This was dubed over the end of the episode. You know how sometimes they advertise things like that during the credits, but the thing is, the episode wasn't even over yet!

And another thing, it dosen't even make sense!!! What kind of people do they have working for Nick-at-Nite! LOL

But did anyone else hear that???

I was just going to post this! Yes, I found that very annoying because I couldn't hear what they were saying and it lasted a long time. It is even worse than messages popping up on the screen or the Nick at Nite Logo.

I know I noticed this too, I think what they meant to say was Mallory Keaton, not Jennifer Keaton. I think they got the names mixed up. But I found this quite annoying why couldn't they ahve waited to do it during the credits? they also did it another time too.

I noticed that too...AFTER I had taped it. :(

My guess is that the voice-over is pre-programmed on the half hour - the first few episodes run a little longer than the rest (either that, or NaN wasn't bothering to edit them).

In any event, it was annoying to watch the tape the next day - happy that I was finally going to be able to tape the pilot, only to hear the guy's voice talking over the end of the show!

To make matters worse, the show airs so late now (1 a.m. here in the midwest) that the second episode was interrupted by the local cable company's weekly emergency broadcast blurb.

Oh well, could be worse...

I hate that!
They also did that once on the one where Mallory runs for school president and Alex helps her out....

Another time they said:
"If you are having the desire to change that remote 'stifle it will ya!' Family Ties is coming up next."
The "stifle it" was in the voice of that guy from All in the Family!!!!!
