If Wilton hadn't been Jane's canon love interest, what kind of couple do you think she and O'Rourke would make?

I can't see her with O'Rourke, Tucker was 46 and she was 15 when the show started. Jane and Hannibal Dobbs would've been a better choice.

The behind the scenes stories from F Troop were that no one knew that Melody Patterson was underage when she did the show (she lied about her age and was 15 when the show started) and Forest Tucker would constantly tease and badger her off screen about her sex life. I could never see Jane with a schemer like O'Rourke anyway. Maybe she'd wind up cooking and doing laundry in Passaic once the Indians were dispatched.
