Men ended its 12-year run by going meta, putting everything that happened off-screen front and center in the series finale. "There's nothing wrong with acknowledging the audience's sophistication about what transpires behind the scenes," says Brian Lowry, "but diving into the business side of the show so relentlessly felt seriously misguided – and more than a little defensive." PLUS: Chuck Lorre talks Charlie Sheen (http://www.tvinsider.com/article/556/qa-two-and-a-half-mens-chuck-lorre-on-reaching-out-to-charlie-sheen-bringing-back-angus-t-jones-and-that-finale-ending-/) and that ending, this was a finale for the fans (http://www.newsday.com/entertainment/tv/two-and-a-half-men-series-finale-with-or-without-charlie-sheen-last-show-is-for-fans-1.9957187), explaining the Charlie Sheen jokes (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/style-blog/wp/2015/02/20/two-and-a-half-men-finally-gets-revenge-on-charlie-sheen-with-insult-filled-series-finale/), and "Men" should be remembered for paving the way for The Big Bang Theory (http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2015/02/19/two-and-a-half-men-finale-review-bianco/23684997/).

I was happy to see some of the old faces back (ex-wives and ex-girlfriends and Jake).

However the finale really hit a bad note with me!!

Who could have thought this was a good idea??

There was only ONE final show of this once beloved and clever sitcom - and that was the last show of the 9th season - the final appearance of Charlie Sheen.

Actually, Charlie stuck around until the last episode of the 8th season. I did enjoy the finale somewhat. I laughed, enjoyed the references and was happy to see Jake but this was not the best finale. Sorry, folks.

I didn't like the finale disappointed that Charlie Sheen didn't appear and was surprised to see Jake after everything that went on...

I thought this was one of the best finales that I have seen. I loved the references to real life. This show was great.

It had several funny moments and all the guest stars were fun to see, especially Arnold S. I also liked the ending with the piano.

I think most of the episode was pretty funny. Still wished Sheen would have shown up.

I have it on DVR haven't seen it yet, though I did find out that Sheen wanted to make an appearance but couldn't agree with Lorre on his return. Sheen wanted to be written back in and a set up for The Harpers and Lorre wanted what was shown.

This was the worst series finale ever what a shame Chuck Lorre has no respect for the fans!

"To go to that low, to be that immature, that completely un-evolved and that stupid. In my face, really?" Sheen tells TMZ. "You must feel safe, motherf--ker. You must feel safe where you live."

I thought it was kind of stupid but I wanted to see it since I'm a big fan.
