I just read about this DVD containing 7 episodes of The Mothers-in-Law, 3 from Season 1 and 4 from Season 2:

I am surprised that this would contain more episodes from Season 2 (generally considered inferior to Season 1 because of the absence of Roger C. Carmel). Its price is about 1/3 of the price of the full series DVD set for 1/8 of the episodes, as well as no extras, but this could be an ok investment for someone who just wants to sample the series rather than go all in on the full series.
