"Buffy" Star Nicholas Brendon Arrested Again

"Buffy" alum Nicholas Brendon has been arrested for the third time in six months.

According to TMZ, Brendon was arrested in Tallahassee, Fla. on Friday night. He called the police reporting that his phone and wallet had been stolen, but when law enforcement arrived on the scene, they discovered the wallet was on the actor's dresser. However, Brendon had flipped over his hotel bed and the toilet in his room was overflowing.

Hotel employees told the officers that Brendon had been mixing pills and alcohol earlier in the day. A pill bottle was discovered that had 10 pills in it earlier in the day, but only one was remaining.

Brendon was arrested for a similar incident in February. He caused $450 worth of damages to his room, refused to pay his $380 tab for food and beverage and fell asleep in a hotel employee's office.

In October, he was arrested after a fight with hotel guests and staff and for breaking a dish. All three incidents took place when Brendon was traveling to appear at a convention.

"Nicholas is, unfortunately, battling a disease that many of us don't understand," his rep said in February.

"We are working with him to improve upon the situation at hand and look toward the future. He's sorry for his actions and takes what happened last night very seriously. We will take great care to ensure his safety in the future."

Brendon's most recent arrest comes only one month after he split from his wife Moonda Lee. They had married in Las Vegas less than five months before calling it quits.
