Another thing is how could a klutz like Cindy ever be taken seriously as a veterinarian for which she was going to UCLA for.

She could mix the wrong medications and wind up with the whole animal zoo in intensive care.

Oh, Lord. Here we go with the bashing of a nice character. I loved Cindy. I would crack up over her being a clutz. The interaction between her and Jack and physical comedy was a success, in my opinion.

Solomon, Chrissy was ten times wackier than Cindy. Hands down! Chrissy was a loonatic her last three years on the show.

I totally agree there. I liked Cindy a lot better than Chrissy although Terri was my favourite of the blondes.

I think Cindy is my favorite of the three. Not because she's the hottest but because she's the funniest character for a sitcom. People accuse Jenilee of being a bad actress, but that just makes her awkwardness more real and that only adds to the humor of the show I think. Some of the best episodes of the series were during Season 5 when she was there.

Chrissy in Seasons 1-2 was great, but by Season 3 her character was bugging me.

Terri was never funny to me. She may have been good looking but she didn't bring much to the show humor-wise. It was dull with her being there, sadly.

I liked Terri. She wasn't dull to me. Priscilla Barnes elected to play the role in her own way and not try to copy the two previous actresses. I applaud her for that.

Now totally agree with you about Miss Harrison. She was still funny. I found myself laughing organically and not by force with some of her work or actions. She and John played off each other well. There are moments where you can see the lows of her acting but I think she could have hung in there longer. She was still good.

Chrissy was my favorite, as I mentioned during the first two seasons. She was dumb but still sophisticated and had her wits about her like when she found out that her boyfriend was married. I loved how she clanked and broke the man's glass after mentioning she knew about his wife. She then keeps herself all reserved as she continues to sip on her drink. Chrissy was funny during her last three years as well but really over the top with the facial expressions, snorting and dumbness.

ITA with you. Cindy was good. Loved her comedy timing with John Ritter. Who can forget that? LOL. I liked Terri. Ms. Barnes played her role in her own way without trying to copy Chrissy. That was refreshing to see.

Cindy being clumsy and goofy made the character hard to watch for me. Atleast Chrissy was just silly and not clumsy

I don't check in that often, but I have to post on this.

Cindy wasn't wacko, she was a somewhat 1-dimensional character who didn't fit into the show and just happened to be played by the right actress. Was she a good actress? Hell no, but even a bad performer can find the right role. (Ashton Kutcher as Michael Kelso on That '70s Show comes to mind.) The clutziness was played up too much, which is why the character didn't work. When they tried to add dimension to the character, it looks to me like the writers didn't know what to do.

After some of the comments I've seen on the boards, I'm glad to see prople coming to Terri/Priscilla's defense. PB was the saving grace after the ratings plummet in S5 and she kept the show alive until the writers tanked it in S8. Too bad she doesn't talk about it; she should be proud of this. Terri had the intelligence to face her own problems, while Chrissy kept needing prodding. Terri still had the occasional blonde moment, but nowhere on the same level as Chrissy, or Cindi for that matter. (I also think she was one of the best looking women of all time, but that's beside the point.)

Chrissy wasn't really that good of a character, and SS was learning to act on set but didn't really get there until Step By Step. But she had, and still has, an incredible charisma that just makes you like her. That's why the show worked.

And seriously, Cindi as a veterinarian should scare every pet on Earth and their owners. She may have been the inspiration for Elmira from...was it Looney Tunes Adventures?
