I was thinking of this: What if The Facts of Life has a Thursday night timeslot during its original NBC run? Throughout its 9-season run, TFoL has been in Friday, Wednesday and Saturday timeslots. But if TFoL did have a timeslot on Thursdays, if any, would things have been any different? If so, how? (Run length, effects on other shows, etc.)

Laverne & Shirley was on ABC fall and Mork & Mindy were on in winter spring.
The Waltons were on fall, winter, and summer of the 79-80 season for Thursday.
So the first season of The Facts of life might have of only done well in the spring of the 79-80 season, since CBS was airing Palmerstown,U.S.A,who knows what that was.I do not recall that show at all, other then it had Michael J.Fox,who was an unknown at the time, and the show was set in the 1930's.

How about if TFoL were on a Thursday slot at any other point during the run, like 1983 (a year before "Must See TV" was created with The Cosby Show, Family Ties and Cheers), 1986 (with TFoL in place of any of the shows I mentioned) or...?

Jerry Seinfeld would have been on the show instead of Clooney.
