If you celebrate Valentine's Day, what do you do?

Men--do you get ( or give) a card, buy Flowers (what kind) or get candy?
Women --what do you do for your men?

I usually get candy for my wife and we spend the day delivering FLOWERS together.....(some reason my wife doesn't really care to get flowers???:confused: )

This year we delivered flowers starting on Feb 13,,,so I surprised my wife with the candy and card a day earlier. :lol: :lol:

Tonight--- I'm planning on dining out for another surprise.:eek:

We exchanged cards and he brought me mixed bouquet red and white roses and another flower is there that I don't know, it smells nice though. And baby breaths! I love flowers, makes the home so fresh and happy! :)

We don't usually go out anywhere special on Valentines. Restaurants are packed this day! Esp if it falls on a Saturday! :crazy:

The weather sure made it difficult to delivery flowers this year!!
This is the first time we have been out traveling in temporary "WHITE-OUT CONIDITIONS" known as "snow squalls."
Visiblity was 20 feet if that.
We delivered to a hospital that you can see from the flower shop when we left, but by the time we got to the hospital, you couldn't even see it 15-20 feet away.
We had 4 of these "squalls" throughout the day....the flower shop stopped taking delivery orders around 1:00pm,,,(even though they stayed open until 6:00pm) we are usually delivering up to 7:00-8:00pm, but we were done before 4pm.

My wife decided to "opt-out" on going out to dinner this year(I wonder why??:confused: ??-lol), so we are going out on Tuesday Feb 17.


Last year we had a "very special" delivery to a waitress at 7:30pm (it had to be delivered at 7:30pm) We were instructed that she had to personnally sign for the flowers and had to show us a picture ID (driver's license)...I even tease her a little more by telling her we needed at least 8 witnesses that could prove she was who she said she was....you should have seen the puzzled look on her face (along with everyone elses around)....then I pulled out a little box with a phone number for her to call immediately,,,,the gasps, the screams and emotions were something....her boyfriend was in AFGHANISTAN waiting for her call.

God bless you Foggy and your wife for braving the bad weather conditions to get Valentines flowers to people and making a nice day for them! Enjoy you belated Valentine dinner tomorrow, you two deserve to have something nice !

Yep!! Sorry (my bad) I forgot to mention the "little box" had an Engagement Ring and the reason for all of the "extra precautions!!!" It did more than make her day!

I didn't do anything on Single-Awareness Day (Valentines Day)...it was too damn cold!
