The search yields nothing. I know there has to be a thread about this guy, but I'm not searching 140 pages.

That's the most popular thread about the case. Lot of good info and speculation in there.

Yes, there are a few threads about the case. He has a unique last name, so I would search that and you should find some threads.

To the best of my knowledge, he is still on death row.

It's crazy. The search was not working for me. Perhaps singular words are effective? I shall try that.

I think his name is misspelled in the title of the biggest thread, that's why it didn't come up. I had the same issue.

The Tampa Bay Times published a multi-part examination of the case last week - it can be read here: http://www.tampabay.com/projects/2018/narratives/blood-and-truth/the-lingering-case-of-tommy-zeigler/

My opinion is that he is guilty; the case is somewhat convoluted, but at the end of the day, it seems to me that the case for his innocence is mostly smoke and mirrors.

Thank you for that article. I came to the same conclusion of his guilt after believing in his innocence for years.

Thanks for posting the article; not only is it well-written, but the presentation is really nice.

For a long time I felt Zeigler's case was too complicated for me to have an opinion either way on his innocence. After listening to RobinW's exemplary podcast episode on the matter and then later reading Fatal Flaw (even though it's sympathetic), I too came to the same conclusion.

A follow-up op-ed to the multi-part Tampa Bay Times series, saying that Florida should allow more DNA testing but that Tommy Zeigler should not be the poster boy for why.

Totally random, but I live and work not far from where the crimes occurred. A guy I work with is really into this case. He believes Zeigler is innocent - like he won't even entertain it isn't possible - and he teaches his students about the case. I don't know if he shares his opinion with them or not.

I've been to the site of the murders (at the time it was a thrift store) and you could still see the bullet holes in some areas. Very creepy.

What? You’ve got to be kidding me...

My personal belief is that the guy Ed who worked for Tommy who turned a gun into the police was in on the plot, probably under a promise of Money from Tommy, and when Tommy tried to double cross him he got away and instead turned Tommy over. It’s a complex case and no scenario squares 100% with known facts / witness statements.
