"New Girl" Taps "Transparent" Actress Kiersey Clemons as Winston's New Love Interest

"Transparent" actress Kiersey Clemons has landed a recurring role on "New Girl" as Winston’s new love interest KC, EW has learned exclusively.
First, the bad news: KC doesn’t like cops. As we first teased in Spoiler Room, in order to woo her, Winston (Lamorne Morris) will lie about being an officer and instead tell her he’s a stripper — seeing Winston pull a Magic Mike is totally the good news.
Clemons will first appear in an episode slated for late March.
In other "New Girl" news, Houston Texan and Pro Bowl Defensive MVP JJ Watt will make a cameo as himself in an upcoming episode that finds Jess (Zooey Deschanel) attending the funeral of Coach’s (Damon Wayans Jr.) gym friend, who was the recipient of her first-ever “sext.”
The episode, which will air in early March, also features guest appearances by Nora Dunn as Schmidt’s mom, Fiona Gubelmann as a fellow funeral mourner and the return of Winston’s partner Aly (Nasim Pedrad).
