all of us here on this board love lucy after all that is why we are here but I was thinking about how many times that we have all seen the classic lucy routines like viatmeatvegiman the the flaming putty nose and so on but I have noticed that with me at least some of the bits that emit howls of laughter from other fans I olny get a mild chuckle out of and some of the bits that no one really talk about I find lol funny and never get tired of them:lol: for example I never have found the grape stomping bit all that funny I mean I laughed at it but to me the bit seemed to get tiresome very quickly but on the other hand the bit in the be a pal ep with lucy trying to do that Carmen marianda dance while the record gets stuck has me rolling with laughter every time that I see it what to all of you are the most underrated and the most overrated lucy bits ?

I think one of the most underrated gags wasn't actually Lucy but Fred and Ethel when Ethel ties Fred to the sunken mattress in the cheap motel on their road trip to the west coast. I love the line, "You do that every night?" "Yeah, but it took years of practice."

I don't think any of her routines are overrated but, one that is underrated is the bit from the Barber shop Quartet. I loved when they glared at lucy with shave cream and her response.
