"General Hospital" Casts "AMC" Fave Rebecca Budig in "Spitfire" Role

Two-time Daytime Emmy nominee Rebecca Budig is making tracks for Port Charles.

As part of "General Hospital‘s" Fan February promotion, executive producer Frank Valentini and headwriter Ron Carlivati announced on Twitter Tuesday that the "All My Children" and "Guiding Light" alumna will be joining the ABC serial in a role alternately described as “killer” and “a real spitfire.”

She will first appear in March.

Let me guess, she's somehow going to be in a storyline that involves Sonny.:rolleyes: Since all characters are connected to him anyway. And if not then you won't get screen time.

Wrong, she's being paid to be Jake Doe's wife.

Soap Opera Digest reports that Rebecca Budig will soon be back on "GH".

Hayden Barnes will come out of the coma she has been in since getting shot in the head in May.
