Two years ago my doctor put me on Ambien. Within a week two things happened to me. I was accused of EMBEZZLING $2,000.00 from my mother's bank account, two days later I awoke VERY SICK. turns out I took every pill in the bottle and drank an entire bottle of Vodka. I consider it a MIRACLE I lived to tell about this, Once I felt better (The next day) I told my Doctor what happened, and he gave me a prescription for a different medication. He also testified at my hearing, and the embezzlement charges were dropped.

IMO Ambien should be BANNED, just "Google" Ambien and watch the Sh:censored:T hit the fan! Some of the stories are humorous, such as people waking up in jail because they were caught walking naked down a street a mile or two from their house or because they got caught shoplifting, others discovering they are 250 miles away from their house, in the middle of nowhere with their out of gas. Others are not-so-funny, I read where some kids woke up past their school start time (They were used to their parents waking them up and feeding them breakfast before sending them on their way to school) then they find their parents are DEAD, empty Pill Bottles and Bottles of Booze on the bed.

PS To this date I have not found the missing money, or what I spent it on! :(
