I wonder why none of them are shown anymore except for NEXT GEN. (The Next Generation) on BBC AMERICA & TOS (The Original Series) on ME-TV?

I am a Trekkie of some note.

I think that The Original Series (TOS) and The Next Generation (TNG), have had the mass appeal, with TNG the highest rated series of them all. Deep Space Nine (DS9) is my favorite show, but it is serialized, especially in the later seasons, and one has to know the story to know what is going on. I disliked the show because I would watch a random episode after work and not understand what they are talking about, Prophets, Dominion, Jem Hadar? TOS and TNG were independent episodes, and less backstory.

I loved Voyager, but again, it lacks mass appeal, and was less liked by Trekkies of the 1990s shows. Enterprise was mediocre and only lasted I think four seasons. Really missed opportunity here from the beginning.

My opinion.

This is how I rank them:
1. TNG I grew up on this and never the saw the original in its' original run
2. TOS
3. Voyager
4. DS9
5. Enterprise
