Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home Saturday, police said. Brown's husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend found her in the tub in the morning and started CPR, the Roswell Police Department said in a statement. Police and rescue personnel arrived at the home, north of Atlanta, at 10:25 a.m. and performed "life-saving measures" before Brown, 21, was brought breathing to the nearby North Fulton Hospital.
The incident remains under investigation, police said. It comes less than two weeks before the third anniversary of Houston's death. The Grammy-winning singer was found submerged in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills, California, hotel on Feb. 11, 2012. She was later pronounced dead. Brown is also the daughter of R&B singer Bobby Brown.
Houston, 48, had struggled for years with cocaine, marijuana and pills, and her behavior had become erratic. Authorities examining Houston's death found a dozen prescription drug bottles in the hotel suite. They concluded that she accidentally drowned. Heart disease and cocaine use were also listed as contributing factors in her death.
Earlier this month, Lifetime released the biopic, "Whitney," which focused on the "I Will Always Love You" singer's drug use. Houston's sister-in-law, Pat Houston, released a statement blasting the film and said neither her mother, Cissy Houston, or Bobbi Kristina Brown, were consulted.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only daughter of late pop star Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home on Saturday, but she was revived after being rushed to a hospital, police said.
The incident comes three years after Houston, a superstar who battled substance abuse issues, drowned in a bathtub in Beverly Hills, Calif., in February 2012. Authorities have said cocaine use and heart disease contributed to her death.
Brown, 21, was found at about 10:20 a.m. in the bathtub at her suburban Atlanta home by her husband and a friend, said Lisa Holland, public information officer for the Roswell Police Department.
Brown's husband, Nick Gordon, started CPR and police continued life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived and took her to the hospital.
"She's alive at the hospital," Holland said. She gave no other details.
Brown was admitted to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, a suburb north of Atlanta, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported. Hospital officials have not responded to calls requesting comment.
Brown married Nick Gordon in January 2014. Gordon was also raised by Houston, one of the best-selling recording artists of all time, but she never formally adopted him.
Whitney Houston, 48, was found dead in a hotel bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012, in Beverly Hills, Calif. She had struggled for years with cocaine, marijuana and pills, and her behaviour had become erratic.

Over her career, Houston sold more than 50 million records in the United States alone. Her voice, an ideal blend of power, grace and beauty, made classics out of songs such as Saving All My Love For You, I Will Always Love You, The Greatest Love of All and I'm Every Woman. Her six Grammys were only a fraction of her many awards.
Houston, who had her first No. 1 hit by the time she was 22, followed by a flurry of No. 1 songs and multi-platinum records, left her entire estate to her daughter.
Houston was the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston and a cousin of pop singer Dionne Warwick.
Bobbi Kristina Brown's father, Bobby Brown, is a Grammy Award winner who started his career as frontman for the R&B group New Edition.
Dr. Thong 02-01-2015, 11:16 AM I love how the article ends up transitioning to an obituary for Whitney. How they use Bobbi Kristina's lapse as an excuse to write about her more famous mother.

The only child of the late singer Whitney Houston has not been taken off life support or declared brain dead, a family source said on Thursday, five days after Bobbi Kristina Brown was found face down in a bathtub at her Georgia home.
The source, who asked not to be identified, said media reports that Brown, Houston's daughter with singer Bobby Brown, had no brain activity were incorrect.
Bobbi Kristina's cousin Jerod Brown said on social media that doctors were not optimistic about the 21-year-old aspiring singer's chances.
"Though it seems the odds are against her, though doctors don't see any hope for change ... though it looks impossible for her to stand again STILL PRAY FOR BK," Jerod Brown said on Instagram, where he posts as yfkennedy.
Few details about Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition have been released. Her family has said she was fighting for her life after being rushed to a hospital in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell on Saturday.
Police said they responded to Bobbi Kristina Brown's home in reference to a drowning. Her partner and a friend found her unresponsive in the tub and performed CPR until help arrived, police said.
Houston, a six-time Grammy Award winner and actress who battled substance abuse, drowned in a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills, California, on Feb. 11, 2012. Authorities said cocaine use and heart disease contributed to her death at age 48.
Her daughter is receiving treatment at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, according to CNN and other media outlets. The hospital would not confirm she was a patient there, but the hospital in Roswell that initially provided treatment said she was no longer under its care.
Family friend and gospel singer Kim Burrell told "Access Hollywood" this week that doctors had put the young woman in a medically induced coma to stop brain swelling.
Roswell police and an attorney for Bobby Brown have said they were investigating the circumstances that led to Bobbi Kristina Brown's hospitalization.
In a video interview over Skype with E! News on Wednesday, Jerod Brown asked people to "let the detectives do their jobs" and to stop speculating about what had happened to his cousin.

Janice 02-06-2015, 11:35 PM Heartbreaking. Such a young and pretty young lady. She had everything to live for. I wonder what happened. I don't recall hearing of any substance abuse issues with her. This seems to have come out of left field. Shades of Anna Nicole Smiith and her son Daniel.

Foul play suspected in Bobbi Kristina Brown case
New information about Bobbi Kristina Brown reveal she may have been dealing with numerous personal problems leading up to her hospitalization.
New information about Bobbi Kristina Brown reveal she may have been dealing with numerous personal problems leading up to her hospitalization.
The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was taken to a hospital last week after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in Atlanta on January 31.
Doctors placed her in a medically induced coma and a statement from the Houston family this week said she was fighting for her life.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ (http://www.tmz.com/2015/02/06/bobbi-kristina-foul-play-nick-gordon-boyfriend-injuries-blood-investigation/)she was already in trouble with the law before the incident - and police believe foul play may have been involved.
An arrest warrant was issued for the 21-year-old just days before she was found unconscious and law enforcement sources say she had injuries that lead them to believe foul play may be involved. Brown was previously hospitalized for "stress and anxiety" shortly after her mom's death. Authorities searched the home after she was taken to the hospital but didn't find any drugs.
They're also looking into a possible altercation more than an hour before she was found. The main suspect is her boyfriend.
Details of Bobbi's condition are still scarce but she remains on life support.

What was the arrest warrant for? Yeah the details on the whole story is scarce. I wonder what Bobbie's day to day life was. Even though she has tons of money, she should have found a job that a typical 21 year old could do. Hanging around doing nothing doesn't help with problems.
