If you are watching who will you be rooting for, Seattle :) or New England :angryfire

Penny Lane 01-30-2015, 10:15 PM What am I doing on Sunday? NOT watching the Superbowl. I couldn't care less! I'm waiting for The Detroit Tigers opening day!
Family Ties Forever! 01-30-2015, 11:28 PM I will be watching the Kitten Bowl. :) :cat:
Rooting for the Patriots. :D
Bonniegirl 01-30-2015, 11:34 PM I will be watching the Kitten Bowl. :) :cat:
Rooting for the Patriots. :D
Me too , might be watching the kitten bowl! ( GO TABBIES) ;) I'm not thrilled with the two football teams playing! :( If I do watch it will be to see a good football game. Hope it would be a good close game, and to have a few beers! But Super bowl to me isn't the same if it isn't your fav team or one of the teams you like a lot playing!
If I had to pick one. It would be The Seahawks. I just don't like that Tom Brady. He doesn't seem like a nice person. He has a mean look in his eye! :(
Foggy 01-31-2015, 12:07 AM I probably won't be watching it!!! It no longer can live up to the "BIG HIPE" that it has always gotten.... even the commericals have gotten to be "FLAT."
Even if you didn't care about the teams playing, the commericals would make up for it, but not now.....
I think the NFL also expects it won't be a big draw this year and that is why we have had "INFLATEGATE!" Needed to have something to "HIPE IT UP!"
If you do watch it---you just know that someone will have a hugh sign that reads "ARE YOUR BALLS INFLATED" or "TOM BRADY ARE YOUR BALLS INFLATED" (or something like that) just so it can be seen on TV.
In cold air, even your car tires become a little deflated after being in the "Cold Air", so why won't a football?
veggie-tari-jenn 01-31-2015, 01:01 AM not watching the super bowl...my Bears aren't in it...so I am not that interested in it......I do hope the Seahawks win....I have close friends who live there and that's their team...so I hope it goes well for them...
Regulus 01-31-2015, 01:56 AM What am I doing on Sunday? NOT watching the Superbowl. I couldn't care less! I'm waiting for The Detroit Tigers opening day!
I'm a Tigers Fan Too! :D (I was born and raised in Michigan, and although I live in Florida (I moved her 15 years ago) part of me still lives in Michigan, and will so, FOREVER. One of the things on my "Bucket List" is to see the Detroit Lions WIN a Super Bowl.
I dp root for the Florida Teams, but if a Championship Involves a Michigan Team Vs a Florida Team my hands are tied, I have to root for the Michigan Team. You can take the man out of Michigan, but you can NEVER take Michigan out of the man!
Go Pistons! Go Wings! Go Tigers! Go Lions! Go Blue! Go Spartans! Go ANY Michigan Team!
Janice 01-31-2015, 02:19 AM I just don't like that Tom Brady. He doesn't seem like a nice person. He has a mean look in his eye! :( I think he's a doll. Living in the Boston area, I know firsthand what Tom Brady does for charities, particularly those that help sick children. He's a real nice guy, and I think he's pretty easy on the eyes. ;)
JamesG 01-31-2015, 02:43 AM It's a regular day for me since I don't really care too much for sports.
All I'll say is I have a lot of money at stake in various football pools.

Wow, he's cute! Seeing his picture is cool. :) He sounds like a nice guy. That's so generous how he gives to charities, esp. for children.
Bonniegirl 01-31-2015, 08:14 AM Aaron Rodgers ( Green Bay Packers) is WAY cuter/hotter IMO!!! :)
I didn't mean any disrespect to Patriots fans, I just don't really like Tom Brady, I'm sorry! :( But it is nice if he gives to charities and helps children! ;)
Furienna 01-31-2015, 09:41 AM As I live in Sweden and don't care that much about sports, there will be no Super Bowl for me. I guess I will be stuck at home, doing nothing. And yeah, we also have a minor blizzard this weekend.
Torgo 01-31-2015, 10:31 AM Anything but the Superbowl, zero interest.
robyrob 01-31-2015, 01:27 PM hopefully I am going to go see the big game tonight - the Dayton Demonz are Playing the Danbury Whalers :woohoo:
tlc38tlc38 01-31-2015, 01:33 PM Working then going home and watching "The Facts of Life"!

Furienna 01-31-2015, 03:04 PM I always watch Groundhog Day on Groundhog Day. Love that movie!:D
Ah yes, Groundhound Day. That is one American holiday, that I know nothing about. Then again, I wouldn't have known anything about Independence Day or Thanksgiving either, if I hadn't seen specials about them on TV shows.

Furienna 02-01-2015, 02:59 PM Working on my blog.
dakert 02-01-2015, 03:44 PM I will be watching something other than the super bowl.
tiredmike59 02-01-2015, 03:54 PM I started watching a movie on Thistv about giant ants attacking people and when I saw Robert Lansing beating one over the head with an ax I remembered I saw it before. My trash cans are empty and it's raining outside so I think I'll squirt some dish soap in them and let the rain wash them out because they smell pretty bad then I think I'll take a nap.
JamesG 02-01-2015, 11:29 PM The Super-Bowl worked in my favor this year. Won't say how much I won, but it's a lot.
I don't follow the games, the folks who run the pools I enter just text me after every quarter to let me know my status.
ponytail 02-02-2015, 06:05 AM Not interested in the game anymore. I did watch the golf tournament, went outside and got some sun, relaxed.
MrCleveland 02-03-2015, 04:17 PM Ah yes, Groundhound Day. That is one American holiday, that I know nothing about. Then again, I wouldn't have known anything about Independence Day or Thanksgiving either, if I hadn't seen specials about them on TV shows.
I hear in Germany, they use a badger rather than a groundhog to predict spring...
Regulus 02-03-2015, 04:36 PM In two weeks we have "Bling Bling" Day. I'll be in New Smyrna Beach, Florida for their annual parade, any "Bling Bling" I catch from the Floats will become Christmas Garlands this December. :D
Dianne3 02-03-2015, 05:59 PM The NFL is the one sport that even if your team doesn't make it all the way, most football fans still watch.
It's because there are so few NFL games compared to the other 3 sports, which makes it easier to follow the league.
I will admit though that for the first time in 2 decades, the Super Bowl hype was getting on my nerves. It didn't before, and I do follow the sport.
In previous years I would post on message boards where other posters were complaining about the Super Bowl hype, and my line of thinking was it's just one game. Now, the shoe is on the other foot.
I think what has happened for me is all the controversy in the NFL this past season, had an effect on me since I found myself caring less as the playoffs went on.

Very cool about your winnings JamesG! ;)

Furienna 02-22-2015, 12:04 PM Not much. I have just been out for a walk.

Bonniegirl 02-22-2015, 07:24 PM The traffic is so bad here today with the Oscar awards going on in this city later!
Bonniegirl 02-22-2015, 07:34 PM My favorite actor lately is Oscar Isaac. I hope he gets an Oscar! hahahaha . (An Oscar for Oscar) ! I don't think he will though. He doesn't seem to be in that many movies that really do that great!
Oh that's right The Oscar's are on tonight. I always never seen any of the movies that get nominated anyway.

And it rained here today and tonight! All the celebrities in their gowns and hair done nicely and men in tuxedo's and it rains on the most important night in Hollywood! We have had the hottest, driest winter this year. But on Academy award day it is cold and rains!!
Race's Girl 02-23-2015, 07:43 AM Watching brand new Simpsons

That really sucks it rained. The Actors and Actresses all looked great last night. The Red Carpet is my favorite part of the show.
