He did break his dad's torque wrench in the first season and he stole the pocket knife from the hardware store in season four. Tim had to ground him from his phone privileges in season six, so Mark did have his moments just like any other kid.

No I don't think Mark was spoiled. And I always hated him going "Goth" when he was older, that just seemed to come out of nowhere. It never made sense to me I just don't think he was the type of kid to do that.
