There was a case where a man (I think he was a cop) had his little boy taken from him by the mother. I think she ended up fleeing the country and years later the man finally caught up with her in England or something, but it had turned out his son had been sick for some time and died not too long before. That always pissed me off because he never got to see his son and tell the real story to him. And I can't remember if the mother was ever prosecuted for the entire thing.
