When the FBI dude told James we talked to your boss and you got your job back
James then said....."Well I got my job back but what about those people who are not so lucky, what about them?
WHAT PEOPLE??? lol
Then at the end he tells florida he is happy he got his job back but i feel that
"Somewhere, somehow, my name is still in somebody's file"
HUH??? What File???

I'm sure he was musing about people who'd been investigated and lost their jobs as a result. I imagine that probably happened (and possibly still happens) a lot.
And I think he's probably right to figure that they've still got his name in somebody's file. They can tell you whatever they want, but once they start a file on you, I doubt they expunge them from their records.
I'm just speculating here, but it wouldn't surprize me if this were true.

Uh, people investigated by the FBI and the govt?
I think he was speaking in general terms, not specifically about people he knew.

Isn't that only if there is a suspicious of crime? Or are you saying the FBI investigates people because they are bored? lol
