Well, I've made a couple of posts here already, so figure it's about dang time I introduce myself.

I'm Byron, and have LOVED "Mama's Family" for as long as I can remember! I remember seein' it as a child and just lovin' it every minute it was on...I have some memories, a few vague and a few vivid.

My favorite character has always been Naomi, and "Frannie" was a close second in the NBC years. Now, yes, of course I loved Mama---but she's kinda on a different level herself. I mean, all fans have to love Mama! :) The only times I'm "not as warm" on Mama are in a few episodes like, where Mama gets a job at Food Circus, and where she boycotts Food Circus---but only cause I love Naomi so much (especially in the NBC years). She was so feisty, and I love seein' her and Mama get into it. :boxing: I even wrote Dorothy Lyman a letter a little while ago, and if I ever get a response, you'll probably hear me shout for joy wherever you are. :notworthy

Back in junior high and high school (I'll be 24 next month) I taped almost all the episodes, and a few years ago I made myself a chronological commercial-free collection. So when I get some spare time I love to enjoy me some "Mama". :D
