I remember what you're talking about. I can't find it on YouTube, but there is a promo for Where's Poppa? with Natalie coming to the outside of the bedroom door with an ax. Beverly Ann and Andy stand back as they look scared to see her with it. I am guessing that was a scene they didn't like and re-shot the scenes to the version of the episode that aired. I don't remember the mime scene in the promo though. I do remember the first part you're talking about.
