There was a segment of UM where it ended with a standup of Robert Stack saying something along the lines of, when referring to law enforcement, ".... Their biggest hope, he's incarcerated for another crime. Their worst fear, that's he still out there still committing crimes ..."

CREEPY but very effective if I am still remembering it at least ten, if not closer to 15 years later.

Was it the Zodiac one? I have images of Robert Stack saying this with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background as he says this, and that's a good backdrop for an episode on the Zodiac, but I might be getting my episodes confused.

Thanks!

There's some very, very close narration at of the end of the Connecticut River Valley killer segment. See if any of this rings a bell:

Thanks for the response. Maybe it was the Connecticut River Valley Killer segment. Maybe it was the Green River Killer segment.

It be easier to get an answer if there was still a way to view ALL of these episodes (not just the ones on the DVDs described at the top of this page).

It was the Connecticut killer for sure. I initially thought maybe it was the carol segment. Since that was also in New England(Connecticut to be exact) any chance that they can be related?

Stack makes this same comment on the east area rapist case.
