The networks need ideas for TV shows. They are lousy at it and need our help! My ideas.......

1. A show that takes place 500 years in the future. Like the Jetsons, create a Universe of what life might be like in the 25th Century. What kind of Universe this would be would up to the writers. Probably if works as an comedy, similar to a Star Trek Universe (maybe not Trek, but probably explored the Solar System, settled Moon and Mars).

2. A show that takes place in the Roman Empire, again a comedy. Basically everyday life in Ancient Rome, but with some of the same modern problems like paying bills, keeping a job, raising children, whatever.

3. An HBO hour long drama about a fictitious Westboro Baptist Church. That would make a great show. Not a biography, just a similar fictional scenario.

4. A TV drama which is in the same Universe as Orwell's 1984. Maybe a multi character show with different Ives under that system. Millions of people today in the Word live under dictatorships who repress the freedom of the people.

Anyone else?

These are my series ideas that I created a few years ago on this very site. I still stand by them and honestly believe that they can succeed on TV. I've even added a couple of new ones for good measure.

THE AMAZING GRACE

A group of nuns race around the world for large cash prizes to see who will be the first one to break all of the Ten Commandments. Hosted by Sally Field.

RAY'S ANATOMY

Ray Romano stars as a doctor who just can't seem to score with his nurses, no matter how hard he tries.

TOAST WHISPERER

Jennifer Love Hewitt finds out that she can communicate with evil spirits who are trapped inside her toaster.

SEAL OR NO SEAL

Howie Mandel gets a job working at Marineland.

EVERYBODY HATES HOCKEY

A Canadian family moves to the USA and struggles to get over their culture shock.

QUEERS

The story of Boston's most popular gay bar, where their motto is "Queers: Where Everybody Knows You're Gay".

Mid-season replacements:

SURVIVOR: BUFFALO

TWO AND A HALF MENNONITES

HOW I MET YOUR PROCTOLOGIST, and its new spinoff:

BREAKING WIND

A remake of MASH, closer to the book and movie, set mainly in the Swamp and filmed in front of a live audience.

A dramedy that takes place on an Indian Reservation and centers on a 10 year old boy and his 12 year old brother who are always getting into mischief. They live with their father and a 110 year old great-great grandfather who sleeps in a tent in the backyard and is always smoking stuff and having visions of uprisings and talks of going on the warpath.

The city or the animal?

The city: Buffalo, NY.

If you can "survive" there for longer than two weeks, you'll end up hoping to be stampeded by the animal. Poor Rex Ryan has no idea what he's in for.

Another idea was to make a Beavis and Butthead show, except the kids here are black. Call it Willie and Hambone. Pretty much the same setup, except it is in an urban area instead of a Texas suburb, and Snoop Dogg could voice Todd who smacks them for being stupid, Samuel L. Jackson as Principal McVicker.

Survivor Cartel that's right we place Rex Ryan and a group of very gullible people who have no idea what they getting into because they won't be told until they arrive right in the heart of scenic northern Mexico's cartel country and watch the fun begin.

Yesterday! This is a show set in an apocalyptic future, where the last remnant of humanity is fleeing back to the past, to escape a killer AI gone totally whack. While trying to hide and live incognito in the past, they are being hunted down by a Love child (half human/cyborg).
The fun really starts when the prof, starts noticing the ever-changing outcomes of major events. (Example, Buddy Holly Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper are not killed in a plane crash. This anachronism leads to the British Invasion never coming to America in 1964!) Each episode's title, is based on a different Supremes song. This could be pure comedy gold.
