Sorry to hear you aren't well Ohio8! Hope you feel better soon. Try to rest as much as you can and eat some chicken soup if you have some, and dry toast it really does help! And ponytail, glad you got over your stomach flu!

I'm not feeling that great really today. I think with me it could be my blood pressure is up a little and also I'm starting menopause , so I'm having women's issues too!

Hope you feel better soon. My husband's also been sick with a cold or flu, I've bought him a bunch of over the counter medicine but it hasn't helped that much. Oh and he even got a flu shot back in late October.

WOW!!! That doesn't sound good!! Hoping it gets back to a normal level! I don't know much about blood sugar, but I know I didn't feel too good the other day with my blood pressure high! :( I'm better now, but I feel a little sad at the moment! :(

The blood tests are in a few weeks...... these are Cardio related tests that I do every three months.... I'll be fine.... (I hope!)

Thanks to both of you, it's my own fault though. I tend to eat a lot when I get depressed and always go for things I don't need such as anything sweet except for soda. I only drink diet and I'm addicted to them. I drink an average of 20 cans per-day but have had as many as 35. I have diabetes, I'm overweight and have high cholesterol but my blood pressure is perfect so at least something is right.

I know !! It is hard to just eat healthy foods. The good tasting treats are so tempting!

I feel crazy and scared. My husband wasn't feeling well on Tuesday and Wednesday. Late Wednesday, he was sitting at the dining room table, taking his vitals. We were talking from separate rooms when suddenly he stopped answering me..

He was sitting there with his eyes closed and his mouth open. I tried to waken him, but he was unresponsive. Nothing I did would wake him. I honestly thought he was dead. I remember thinking, "After all these years, this is how it ends?" I called 911. He's still in the hospital. They've run so many tests, but everything comes up okay, which is great. I thought for sure he had a stroke He's awake and fine now. Very confused here. :confused:

We appreciate any prayers.I'm hoping he comes home this weekend. He's in the best hospital in Boston.
