Katy Perry won’t be the only big-name musician performing at the Super Bowl in three weeks. The best-selling artist announced Saturday that veteran rocker Lenny Kravitz will be joining her onstage at University of Phoenix Stadium for the Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show.
It’s a similar move as last year, when the Red Hot Chili Peppers were added to Bruno Mars’ performance a few weeks prior to the game, adding a veteran rock act to a younger artist’s set. Perry didn’t announce any specifics about what the pair would collaborate on, but hinted that some version of Kravitz’s “American Woman” remake could be a possibility.
