What was everyones thoughts? I loved that it was a 2 parter but the fact they tried to make it such a "Tear jerker" so to speak made it not as enjoyable.
It was just on Nick @ Nite tonight followed by the first episode.

I didnt think much of it, I think by that point I was starting to outgrow the show and to really discover how awful a show it was and years later thanks to the internet I wasn't the only one thinking the same thing.
One thing I just couldn't tolerate was the heavy handed dramatic music when the guys find Michelle fallen off the horse and again with the sappy music once she fully starts to remember.

the michele character really is/was the most spoiled brat in the world
but the show had a core run with some great episodes. did we ever find out what college DJ chose?

It was never really confirmed what college she was going to, but judging from the episode Taking the Plunge, I think it was hinted that she was going to Berkeley.

The final episode was not good for a final episode. It was too much the Michelle Show, as a lot of people called the series.
In the early seasons, the focus was mostly on DJ/Stefanie, but as Michelle began to talk and walk, it became the Michelle Show, shortly before it left Friday nights and the rest of the run on Tuesdays.
As I got older, I slowly phased out of all the shows on TGIF once I reached middle school/high school, but more in high school. Full House was on from when I was in Kindergarten until I finished 7th grade, so I was the same age as Stefanie during its run. After Jesse and Rebecca had the kids, I slowly began to tune out and wasn't as big a viewer anymore "first run" by the time I was in 5th grade, but I still watched whenever I was able to as ABC had the best sitcoms during the 1990s.
The last season should have wrapped up a lot differently, even if they did another 2 more episodes after Michelle Rides Again. The episode was all about Michelle and that wasn't good.
DJ was graduating, so it should have been mostly about her graduation. We didn't get to see a graduation episode for her and Kimmy. That's how season 8 should have officially ended, whether they were picked up or not for another season. They should have also thrown in a few things here and there with Gia's mother and Danny and how he could have proposed to her by the end of the finale, or something to show they were going to stay together unlike the other women he'd been with over the years.

I agree with them showing D.J.'s graduation but I don't think that Danny should have proposed to Gia's mom. They weren't shown as being that serious and it would have felt rushed. I don't see why TV shows always have to 'pair' characters off. I'm in the minority, but I didn't like Danny with Vicky. Vicky didn't have very much personality and I was happy to see her go.
