Ok I am SO not done yet, but since I read Tiff's, then I wanted to post mine. I'll post a chapter at a time. Here goes!

Chapter One
I had to heave a sigh as I shoved yet another black tank top into my almost empty suitcase. My family and I were heading off to Florida for February break and my sister and I were mad. I didn't life Florida- too many crazed old people. The sun annoyed me too. But I guess it'll be ok, I thought. I pulled out my CD case. Mary J. Blige, Petey Pablo, Outkast, Ludacris- good, all my CD's were there. Except- I looked around my room to make sure no one was hiding there. Then I made sure my favorite CD was there- Billy Joel. No one but me knew about that and I planned to keep it that way. God, I could just see it- Kaley Rickman listens to old people music. And watches old people shows, I thought. I had an unnatural obsession with Designing Women. A small rap on my door brought me back to reality.
"Come in!" I called. Mom waltzed in. And I do mean waltzed. Mom thinks she's Martha Stewart or something. It's really weird.
"Honey, you all packed?" Mom asked in that concerned tone of hers. "And did you pack anything with color?"
"No, Mother," I said sweetly. "I refuse to wear color. It'd taint my tough girl image." Now it was Mom's turn to sigh.
"Well, we're about to leave. Bring your stuff downstairs," Mom said, walking out. I threw a few pairs of shorts into my suitcase and brought it down to the car. We were driving (horror of horrors!) and I was not ready to spend 24 hours in a car with my sister. My sarcastic, close minded 18 year old sister. Montana (that's her name) is one of those mean people who no one gets along with. But, nevertheless, I shoved my junk into the car and anticipated a long boring trip.
Halfway through North Carolina, I got bored. I don't just mean bored, I mean bored.
"What's wrong?" Mom asked me.
"Nothing, it's just, I feel more like Julia then Mary Jo," I said, sighing. Mom sighed too.
"Does everything have to be a television metaphor for you?" she huffed.
"Yes," I replyed smugly. "Annie Potts is practically my role model." Mom rolled her eyes and sat back down in the front seat.
"Where's my Designing Women book?!" I shrieked a minute later. I had copied down th scripts to 50 episodes and taken over 100 pictures for it. I dug around and grabbed my book. I also grabbed my Annie Potts photo album- pictures from all of her shows and movies. I then lay back down and fell asleep.

OK so that wasn't the WHOLE 1st chapter but my fingers hurt. I'll post more later.
