I was watching a 1985 episode of Too Close For Comfort on youtube and even though the actress is credited as Ashley Wells, I would almost bet that it is Betty Conner from Gidget. She looks and sounds exactly like her, but she had blonde hair with an 80's perm. Take a look and see if you all agree.
