HBO Renews "Girls" for Season 5
Jan 5, 2015
by Tim Surette
Attendees at New York's Season 4 premiere screening of "Girls" got a little extra treat on Monday. And no, Allison Williams as Peter Pan didn't fly across the room sprinkling fairy dust on everyone, but that would have been cool.
At a screening held at the Museum of Natural History, HBO programming president Michael Lombardo announced that the network has renewed "Girls" for Season 5, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
HBO has not announced anything official, yet, but expect something soon.
The news isn't all that surprising given "Girls'" value around the water cooler among the cool kids and critics and the attention it gets near awards season.
"Girls'" fourth season premieres Sunday at 9/8c on HBO.
